When I bought my first candle-making kit in 2021, I never imagined it would lead to owning my own business. My first candle was a complete disaster—the wax and fragrance measurements were all wrong, and it barely filled a quarter of the jar (oops!). But despite the failure, I instantly fell in love with the process, and from that moment on, my passion was ignited.

Determined to get it right, I spent countless hours researching, asking endless questions in Facebook groups, and testing again and again. After investing time, effort, and more money than I’d like to admit, I finally found my groove, and that’s when Fallow & Fox was born.  

Fast forward a few years (and a global pandemic later), I’m still here, pouring my heart and soul into my business while fulfilling orders from our spare bedroom—all while working full-time shift work at a local paper mill. Balancing both has been challenging, but it has taught me resilience, determination, and that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.  

I genuinely love what I do—from the lessons I’ve learned to the relationships I’ve built with my amazing customers. I now have 9 beautiful stockists (and counting!), and I don’t think I’ll ever get over the feeling of seeing my handmade products on the shelves in the most incredible stores. It’s honestly a pinch-me moment everytime!

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Fallow & Fox, I have a feeling the best is yet to come. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here and supporting this journey.
